नीचे दिए थीम नंबर नई NCERT किताब (Reprint 2026-27) के अनुसार हैं। पहले 11 थीम थीं, अब 7 हैं — चार थीम पूरी तरह हटा दी गई हैं, इसलिए बाद की थीमों के नंबर आगे खिसक गए हैं।

- मूल निवासियों का विस्थापन Displacing Indigenous Peoplesपुरानी थीम 10
- आधुनिकीकरण के रास्ते Paths to Modernisationपुरानी थीम 11
सिलेबस से हटाई गई थीम
ये चार थीम NCERT की नई किताब से पूरी तरह हटा दी गई हैं। कुछ राज्य बोर्डों में ये अब भी पढ़ाई जाती हैं, इसलिए इनके नोट्स यहाँ से हटाए नहीं गए हैं।
